Rodney C. Adkins ’81 has released a new book, Curiosity Redefines the Limits: Advantages Gained from Life, the Workplace, and the Boardroom, published by Forbes Books.
In the book, Adkins explores how curiosity can become a defining advantage in leadership, decision-making, and personal growth. Drawing on lessons from his career and life experiences, he emphasizes the importance of asking better questions and remaining open to new ideas as industries and careers evolve.
Part memoir and part leadership guide, Curiosity Redefines the Limits reflects on Adkins’ journey from inner-city Miami to a decades-long career in technology and corporate leadership, including senior executive roles at IBM and service on multiple Fortune 500 boards. Along the way, he encourages readers to embrace continuous learning throughout their lives and approach challenges with curiosity rather than certainty.
