Maymester & Summer 2026 Housing Information
Maymester 2026-Housing
RLO anticipates offering two types of Maymester housing in 2026. Some courses will run for one week, while others will follow the traditional month-long format. Maymester housing is only available for students registered for a Maymester class.
- Maymester — 1 Week
- Dates: May 11–15
- Location: You will remain in your Spring 2026 room.
- Cost: $350 housing (7 nights $50 per night)
- $210 dining dollars ($30 per day)
- Maymester — Full Month
- Dates: May 11–June 5
- Location: You will stay in your Spring 2026 room until moving to Ward Hall on May 15.
- Cost: $1,300 housing (26 nights at $50 per night)
- $840 dining dollars ($30 per day)
Maymester 2026-Dining
Maymester dining services will be available in the Fox Lodge starting May 11.
Fox Lodge Hours for Maymester:
Monday-Friday
- Lunch: 11:30am - 1:00pm
- Dinner: 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Students will be able to purchase "To Go Bags" on Fridays to have meals for the weekend.
Summer 2026-Housing
- Dates: May 6–August 9
- Location: You will stay in your Spring 2026 room until moving to Lakeside on May 15.
- Cost Information:
- Minimum stay: 6 weeks (students may leave earlier but must pay for minimum 6 weeks)
- Minimum summer cost: $2,100 for 6 weeks
- Full summer rate: $4,750 ($50 per night)
- Minimum stay: 6 weeks (students may leave earlier but must pay for minimum 6 weeks)
Students may elect to stay for a period between 6 weeks and the full summer. You will indicate specific dates for which you need housing on your summer housing application in April. *Graduating students are not eligible for summer housing. Summer housing is limited and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Summer 2026-Dining
Starting after Maymester, Dave's Boathouse will be open for dining starting (Date & Days TBD):
- Breakfast: 7:30am – 9:00am
- Lunch: 11:30am – 1:00pm
- Dinner: 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Menu: summer rotation including the deli, salad, pizza, pasta, and comfort food (protein, starch, vegetable).
