Rollins ranks among the nation’s best colleges for nontraditional students and adult learners thanks to the College’s flexible and affordable Professional Advancement programs.
Rollins Professional Advancement has earned recognition as one of the best schools in the country for adults by Abound, a college guidance system for degree-seeking adults. This accolade places the College among an exclusive group of only 176 schools across the nation.
For the initial vetting process, the ranking body looks at nationally corroborated data from the National Center for Education Statistics and the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard for accredited schools. Then they evaluate the country’s best schools based on the organization’s selection qualifications in the areas of accessibility, affordability, acceleration, and advancement. Within these four distinct areas, the rankings consider the net price, the repayment rate on federal student loans, if the school offers credit for life experiences, services and support for military students, academic and career counseling services, graduation rates, and more.
Rollins’ flexible and affordable Professional Advancement programs are designed specifically for working adults and transfer students with busy lives. Rollins provides the personalized support, top-ranked reputation, and expert mentorship that adult learners need to complete a bachelor’s degree and unlock their professional potential.

With an average class size of just 14 students, Rollins’ Professional Advancement programs take a personalized, hands-on, interactive approach to learning that emphasizes application and critical thinking over memorization and prescriptive lectures. In fact, The Princeton Review recently recognized Rollins’ classroom experience as No. 1 in Florida and No. 23 in the nation. Our supportive faculty are passionate about teaching and committed to helping students finish their bachelor’s degree and advance their career.
Classes are conveniently timed to suit every schedule, including part- and full-time tracks. Our flexible hybrid model combines the best of in-person and online learning environments, and all classes start at 6 p.m. or later.
Rollins Professional Advancement accepts credit from everywhere from accredited colleges and universities to the military and professional certifications. A dedicated advisor helps chart an individualized course plan based on each student’s transfer credits award. On average, more than 90 percent of our students’ credits are accepted.
Rollins Professional Advancement has a guaranteed admission policy, meaning that as long as students hold a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA, their place in one of Rollins’ flexible and affordable Professional Advancement programs is assured.
Just ask health-care management major Eric Reichwein ’18, who attended seven different colleges over almost 20 years before graduating from Rollins and finally achieving the life and career he’d always wanted.
“I couldn’t have done it without the support of the entire Rollins community,” says Reichwein, who currently serves as the executive director of business development at pharmaceutical manufacturing company UBC. “Rollins gives you the one-on-one attention you need and walks you through every step of the application process. My Rollins degree has opened doors that I couldn’t have imagined. My career has skyrocketed, and I made friendships for life.”
