At this year’s FloridaACE conference, Mandel received a Recognition Award for her many years of service and leadership on the board, including her time as president of the state association, and the President’s Award for her trusted leadership and mentorship in the state.

“The President’s Award was especially meaningful,” shares Mandel, “as it recognized the support I provided to the current president throughout the year as a trusted colleague, sounding board, and confidant. It was incredibly special to be acknowledged in that way.”

With an annual conference each June, FloridaACE is a professional development network with the goal of providing representatives from higher education institutions within the state the opportunity to share resources related to the innovative internships and career opportunities through partnerships among career professionals in education, government, and industry.
